Introduction: Above the main entrance of the church, St. Thérèse of Lisieux watches over every pilgrim with a tender gaze. Clasping a crucifix and roses to her heart, she embodies her famous "Little Way." This window reminds us that the path to Heaven does not require grand achievements; rather, by infusing small acts with great love, we become roses in the eyes of God.
Scripture: "Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3-4)
Artistic Appreciation
The Image of the Saint: Dressed in the habit of the Discalced Carmelites, the Saint’s expression is serene and resolute. Her figure, reflected against the sky, evokes a sense of holiness and spiritual intimacy.
The Crucifix and Roses: She holds the crucifix of the Passion close, adorned with roses. The roses symbolize the graces and love she petitions from God, while the crucifix represents her faith in willingly suffering for love.
